In this option, the client is to provide measurements & photos of existing space as well as furniture that is to remain in the space.

FAQs
What can I expect from the initial design consultation?
While the consultation is largely based on discussing your project & overall vision, it is also a great opportunity for us to meet & connect in person. The best designs are realized by first understanding who you are and what you love so that your home can be a direct reflection of that.
How long do furniture orders take?
Unfortunately, due to the current ongoing shipment and manufacturing delays worldwide, furniture can take upwards 4-6 months, if not longer to be delivered. For custom cabinetry, this can be anywhere from 8-12 weeks from the date of order depending on the finishes used. If you’re concerned with timelines, I’ll do my best to suggest products that have favourable lead times.
How much should I anticipate spending on a project?
This is one of my most frequent questions. The short answer is that you determine how much you’re willing to spend and I will work with it and obtain cost estimates to ensure we’re staying on track. That being said, there should always be a buffer set aside for contingencies and it’s important to know your MAX spend. Projects can be inundated with hidden costs due to site issues and constant price fluctuations with regards to labour & material.
Do you work on projects outside of the Montreal region?
I offer services primarily in Montreal, Laval & the North Shore. If you have a project outside of these areas, there will be an additional fee for mileage depending on the location. Feel free to reach out to discuss further.
What is Virtual Design?
Virtual design is an electronic-based service that is tailored for clients looking to do small room makeovers in an efficient and affordable way. We would work hand in hand to create a completely customized space, all done via online communication. You would provide the measurements and photos of your space as well as the shopping and putting the pieces together. Since the workload is less hands-on and done completely online, the turnaround time is faster than with a typical full-scope design.
